Our Story

After years of working with cosmetic surgery patients, particularly those undergoing tummy tucks and liposuction, I noticed how much they struggled to find a garment that fit perfectly right away. Often, they had to resort to custom-made options that took ages to arrive, with the risk of still not fitting properly, or they had to take the garment to a tailor for adjustments. Even when clients found a suitable option, it was rarely a perfect fit. As a therapist, I did my best to help my patients find the right faja to achieve the best results, but it was a challenge for me as well.

Years ago, a friend suggested that I create my own brand of compression garments, but it seemed like an impossible task at the time. I was a big advocate for Colombian garments, and finding the right designer and manufacturer felt out of reach. Then, one day, my client Tendai encouraged me to pursue the idea and even referred me to her designer. This designer managed to connect with a manufacturer in Colombia for my brand. There was one specific Colombian manufacturer I had in mind due to his exceptional work, but I couldn’t find him. However, when the universe aligns, everything falls into place. While I was in Madrid, I met a Colombian man who, by chance, happened to be friends with the very manufacturer I had been searching for—I couldn’t believe my luck.

From that point on, everything started coming together. We began designing my own line of compression garments and waist trainers, ensuring that every flaw in existing products was addressed. Together, we created the most fitting and comfortable faja and corset, offering the best compression to help clients achieve optimal results post-surgery and even for those looking for body contouring without surgery.

I named my brand after Tendai, the client who helped make my dream a reality. So, welcome to Tendai!
